actress, improviser, writer
Zabeth Russell is an actress, writer, improviser, improv teacher, and person who lives in Los Angeles, California. Zabeth was born in Mooresville, Indiana, but started improvising at ImprovBoston in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Boston, where she later became a member of the artistic staff. After moving to Los Angeles, she began performing at iOWest in Hollywood, California, where she improvises with The Armando Show and Village Bicycle (past shows include Trophy Wife, Middle Seat, Kind Strangers, and iO Repertory, among others). She also performs regularly as a cast member of The Friday 40, a pop culture and drinking game show every second Friday of the month at Nerdmelt.
Some film and TV credits include roles on
Uncle Buck, Jane the Virgin, Fresh Off the Boat, Suburgatory, The Office, Raising Hope, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Bloodsucking Bastards (starring Fran Kranz and Pedro Pascal), and the Clint Eastwood-directed Mystic River.
She is a sometimes Tweeter and an infrequent but hopeful blogger. She loves dogs, coffee, and John Waters movies. She bakes one mean red velvet cake and would make a witty addition to your barbecue or themed Flag Day party. She has curly hair, hazel eyes and is the proud owner of all ten of her original fingers... for now. Zabeth is managed by Eileen O'Farrell at O'Farrell Management (818.985.3136) and repped theatrically by Lauren Gibson and Tom Markley at Metropolitan (323.857.4591). Commercially she is repped by Rachele Fink at SBV (323.938.6000).
